Missions

We support more than 25 people with finances and prayer to do ministries in Canada and world wide.

International missions we are involved with include education and evangelism in Africa, medicine and business development in Asia and student outreach in Europe.

Locally we support those involved in outreach to students and the poor as well as camp programs.

Missions Trip to India
 

In January 2008, a team of ten Nova Scotians traveled to India on a two week mission trip.  Five of the team were from Grace Chapel and visited the states of Sikkim and West Bengal.  The purpose of the mission was threefold: 

1. Conduct a one week training conference for approx 60 church leaders at Victory Christian Fellowship in Sikkim.
2. Do some construction work to improve the facilities at an orphanage in Sathali through a dynamic mission – North Bengal Outreach Ministries.  Nicholas Narjinary heads this ministry to a hundred orphan children and plants twenty churches a year through thirty workers. 
3. Visit Touch the Lives in Calcutta where Dr. Vivek ministers to about 700 street children and also spreads the Gospel through radio broadcasts that reach a potential audience of 12 million in the state of West Bengal.

The result of this mission trip has led to the formation of Far Corners Ministry.
