Moms, here is a chance to have a morning out and recharge your batteries! You will have opportunities to meet new friends, and to discuss important family related matters with other moms.
What Is MOPS? MOPS (Mothers of Preschoolers) is a program designed for mothers with children under school age, infant through Grade Primary. For mothers, not all the same age, but all in the same phase of life. Women with different lifestyles and different backgrounds, but all with similar needs and a shared desire to be the best mothers they can be. The MOPS group provides support, teaching, encouragement and friendships. In these relationships, Moms find answers to their everyday dilemnas and discover a safe place to explore the deeper principles of life-building. MOPS helps Moms. What Happens at MOPS?
- Social time, Group time, Craft time
- Each month a speaker will have an encouraging talk for moms
- A chance to meet and talk with other moms and do a craft
- Activities for preschoolers with singing and crafts
What Does MOPS Cost?
- A suggested donation of $3.00 - $5.00 per family to cover costs.
When Is MOPS?
- Starting the first Monday in October, and then the first Monday of each month (except for statutory and/or school holidays.
- From 9:00 to 11:30 a.m.

Program Includes:
- 9:00-9:30 - Mom takes children to play area or nursery, then joins other moms for tea, coffee and muffins
- 9:30 - 10:00 - An encouraging talk for moms.
- 10:00 - 10:30 - small group discussion time
- 10:30 - 11:30 -Moms' craft time
- 11:30 - home time
